Just around the corner

I have got a great wife.

Just as I was settled in for a Sunday on the couch my beautiful wife turns to me and says: “Don’t you want to go out?” “Do you want to get rid of me?” I asked back. “No, but it is such nice weather outside I just thought you might want to go out  to photograph a bit.”

Well how about that. And I did just that. I wrapped up warm, grabbed my Fuji X-E1, the XF23, XF18 and my very much love Walimex 8mm fisheye lens.

After just a few minutes I had my first shot. It´s the church in my home town.

The Church

But architecture is not was I was after. My main subject today was landscape, trees and clouds.

Take a look at the shots below and tell me what you think about them in the comments box. And if you have any questions to the techniques I used either taking the shot or in post feel free to leave your question below and I´ll be sure to get back to you. Or you can contact me via email. I can see why you would want to get out of the house on such a nice day in such a nice part of the world (Germany) to snap some photos. Perhaps look for a theme you can pick for the day (patterns or circles, handles, gateways, trees shot with the sun as a background) and go hunting. Regards, Rob
