Hi once again,
Today I am not going to write a review, preview or a how to edit this and that picture. I want to show you my very personal ten best photographs which I have taken over the past five years with Fujifilm X cameras.
I will also tell you a little bit about the photographs. By the way, the photographs you can see on this blogpost are also links to the photographs on Flickr. Click it and it will take you to the shot shown on my Flickr account.
Do leave comments below and tell me what you think about them.
To start off I am showing you a panoramic view over Manhattan which I took with the X-Pro1 and the XF35 1.4 in 2012
Next up is one of my favorite ones taken in Stockholm. I used the X100 as my only camera in Stockholm and did not miss anything.
Soon after I came back from New York I exchanged the X-Pro1 for an X-E1 as I noticed that I did not use the OVF. Instead I liked the EVF much better. This is a landscape photograph which I took with the X-E1 and the Walimex 8mm fisheye lens.
In 2013 a befriended couple, my wife and I went to Paris for a five day trip. The X100S was with me and once again it was the only camera I had with me on this trip. I came back with some great photographs and also started experimenting with Nik´s HDR Efex Pro 2 a little.
The last one of Paris was edited with Nik Silver Efex Pro2 and was taken from the top of Notre Dame
We are still in the year 2013. Just a day after coming back from Paris my wife and I headed to Dubai. Wow, what a place. I had the X-E1 with my 8mm fisheye with me. This photograph was taken looking up standing on the “At the Top” platform of the Burj Khalifa tower. Wow, what a view.
I also had the X100S with me and took this one out of the plane while lifting off from Dubai International Airport. Thanks to Fujifilm Middle East with this one. I participated in a contest hosted by FujifilmME and nearly made it to become an official Fujifilm X-Photographer. But only nearly!
2014 I had the chance to go and visit Beijing for a fourteen day business trip. Of course I had a camera with me. This time it was the X-T1. The first photograph was taken with the X-T1 and the Zeiss Touit 1.8/32 mounted on it.
This second shot was also taken with the X-T1. This time with the amazing XF18-55. It was taken inside the Emperor’s garden.
Once again the X-T1 with the amazing Zeiss Touit 1.8/32 in Beijing
September 2014. It was time to visit the Photokina in Cologne. There I was able to meet up with a representative from Zeiss. Thanks also to Zeiss Germany for all of your support. The X-T1 and the Zeiss 1.8/32 did an excellent job with this one.
Also in Cologne. The X-T1 and the Samyang 12mm f/2 lens.
Moving on to October 2014. My wife and I went on a short vacation to Prague and Berlin.
Prague with the X-T1 and the Voigtlaender 40mm 1.4
Prague, the Charles Bridge early in the morning. X-T1 and the Samyang 12mm f/2. This for me is one of my very best photographs I have taken to date.
After visiting Prague we drove on to Berlin and to the Beelitz Heilstaetten. We had booked a photo tour. The results for me are nothing short of stunning. The model is my wife.
This last one from Beelitz was well worth the wait of 45minutes until the sun came out again. Do note that the above shots do not have any photoshop use at all. HDR Efex Pro2, yes. Everything you see on the photograph was there at that time!
After visiting Bejing in 2014 I was also sent out to Los Angeles just some months later. I actually only took one shot there which I would consider one of my best. A car driving on the freeway while I was passing it. I was sitting on the passenger seat and had the X-T1 and the XF18-55 mounted.
Ok, lets wrap this post up with what I have done up until now in 2015. We are half way into the year and I have taken some great shots this year as well. Once again I used the Fuji X-T1 but also the X100T as well.
In our garden taken with the X100T
On a vacation in Marrakesh I only had the X100T with me. It was the best choice I could have made.
Back home again. And the X100T still was and is stunning me every time I use it.
Visiting the Mercedes-Benz Museum with a befriended photographer. The X-T1 and the XF14 did the job.
And that´s it. I just noticed that there are far more than 10 photographs in this post. Pick your favourite and let me know which is yours.
Thanks for dropping by.
