It has been a while since my last post on this site.
I have been busy getting my flickr account more popular and work has been busy too.
To relax a little and get some new energy for the forthcoming task my wife and I took a short weekend trip down to Munich. From our home town it is about a 2 1/2 hour drive. Not that long.
We arrived after a foggy drive at the Motel One right in the city center.
After checking in we wrapped up warm and took a stroll into the city. The first stop was the Viktualienmarkt.
The damp cold weather made us hungry.
It was not our first visit to Munich and every time we walked past a patisserie selling these extraordinary little cake tarts. They just look so beautiful.
This time the cafe was open and it was time for a cake and a cup of coffee.
And boy I can tell you. They are just as delicious as they look.
After these delicious tarts we had enough energy to go on.
On the way back to the hotel to get ready for the evening we came past a Starbucks in front of a great looking building. I just loved the contrast of the new and old.
As you can see it was foggy again.
My wife and I spent the evening in a tapas bar and enjoyed some lovely food.
Munich was foggy this evening. Just the right weather for my X100S
The next morning my wife and I had breakfast and headed back home again.
And guess what. It was foggy again. I set up the X100S to manual focus, f/4 and the time to 1/2000s shutter speed and took this shot of a tree along side the motorway.
It was a short but nice trip to Munich, a city my wife and I always enjoy visiting. It will not be the last time.
All shots are jpegs ooc taken with the Fuji X100S with light tweaks using the VSCO Toolkit and Apple Aperture.
